2017苏州金鸡湖钢琴比赛艺术总监由苏州交响乐团首席指挥许忠先生担任。许忠先生是享誉国际乐坛的中国钢琴家和指挥家之一，现任以色列海法交响乐团的音乐总监、首席指挥，意大利维罗纳夏季歌剧节及歌剧院首席指挥以及上海歌剧院院长; 2012至2015年期间，担任意大利贝里尼歌剧院艺术总监。

The artistic director of the Suzhou Jinji Lake International Piano Competition isXU Zhong——the principal conductor of Suzhou Symphony Orchestra. As one of the most internationally renowned Chinese pianist and conductor in the world, Xu Zhong is currently Music Director and Chief Conductor of Israel Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Principal Director of Fondazione Arena di Verona and General Director of Shanghai Opera House. Between 2012 and 2015, he was Music Director and Chief Conductor of Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania, Italy.

Dominique Merlet（多米尼克·梅赫莱）先生生于法国波尔多，是Roger-Ducasse、Rose Lejour、Nadia Boulanger、Louis Hiltbrand的得意门生，在巴黎国立高等音乐学院连获三次一等奖后，1957年他摘得著名的日内瓦国际大赛桂冠、以及当年该赛事所有比赛类别中最出色艺术家特别奖。Dominique Merlet先生是各大国际钢琴比赛的常任评委（华沙、利兹、维也纳、都柏林、东京、慕尼黑、首尔、克利夫兰、盐湖城、上海、滨松钢琴大赛等），并任Nadia and Lili Boulanger国际基金会会长。因其卓越的艺术贡献，法国文化部授予Merlet法国文学与艺术军官称号。

2017年，Dominique Merlet先生将担任苏州金鸡湖钢琴比赛评委主席。

Born in Bordeaux, Dominique Merlet was a pupil of Roger-Ducasse, Rose Lejour, Nadia Boulanger and Louis Hiltbrand. After three first prizes at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris he became the winner of the prestigious Geneva International Competition in 1957 as well as the special prize awarded to the most accomplished laureate of all disciplines on the programme that year.

Dominique Merlet frequently participates at international piano juries (Warsaw, Leeds,Vienna, Dublin, Tokyo, Münich, Seoul, Cleveland, Salt Lake City, Shanghai, Hamamatsu and others) andhe is the President of the Nadia and Lili Boulanger InternationalCenter. His impressive accomplishments have been rewarded by the French Ministryof Culture with the title of Officier des Arts et des Lettres.

During the 2017 Suzhou Jinji Lake International Piano Competition, Mr. Dominique Merlet will be invited as the CHAIRMAN OF THE COMPETITION JURY.

吴迎

Ying Wu

吴迎，中央音乐学院钢琴系主任，教授，博士生导师。生于上海，毕业于中央音乐学院钢琴系。1982年获硕士学位随后留学奥地利，师从世界著名钢琴大师巴杜拉—斯科达教授；回国后在母校任教。1991年被国务院、国家教委授予“做出突出贡献的中国硕士学位获得者”称号，1992年获瑞士歌德基金会颁发的“巴杜拉—斯科达奖”。1994年—2004年在上海音乐学院任教，曾任上海音乐学院钢琴系主任，教授。1999年被授予“文化部优秀专家”称号。2017年苏州金鸡湖钢琴比赛中，吴迎先生将担任评委。

Wu Ying was born in Shanghai, to a musical family. He graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music China in Beijing and got his master degree. Then he went to Vienna and studied with Paul Badura-Skoda. In 1984, he graduated from HochschulefuerMusik und DarstellandeKunst in Vienna, became a faculty member in Central Conservatory of Music China in the same year. In 1991, the Chinese State Council and the State Education Commission granted him a Special Contribution Award. He went to the Piano Department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 1994, and became the department head until 2004, when he went back to the Central Conservatory of Music China in Beijing as a professor and department head.

During the 2017 Suzhou Jinji Lake International Piano Competition, Professor Wu Yingwill be invited as one of the members of THE COMPETITION JURY.

Pavel Gililov

Pavel Gililov生于乌克兰顿涅茨克，从小受到身为业余音乐家的父亲的艺术熏陶，8岁时这位音乐神童便与管弦乐团合作完成了人生第一次公开演出。Gililov在学生时代已在各大国际赛事表现亮眼，譬如1972年莫斯科的俄罗斯全国钢琴比赛、1975年华沙国际肖邦钢琴大赛等，成为前苏联极受追捧的钢琴演奏家。迁至欧洲后不久，Gililov便摘得意大利维奥蒂钢琴比赛桂冠，开启了他在欧洲的演奏生涯。Gililov的钢琴演奏曲目众多、曲风多变，被各大出版商争相追捧，包括德意志留声机公司、RCA Vitor唱片公司、东芝百代唱片公司、Virgin唱片公司、Orfeo唱片公司等。他也在世界各地巡回举办大师课，并担任各大国际钢琴比赛评委。2005年，他创立并担任波恩贝多芬钢琴比赛评委会主席。2017年苏州金鸡湖钢琴比赛中，Pavel Gililov先生将担任评委。

Hailing from Donetsk, Ukraine, Pavel Gililov was raised up with an amateur-musician father. This child prodigy made his first public appearance with an orchestra at 8. Gililov, during his studies, made his name known at the All-Russian Piano Competition in Moscow (1972) and the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw (1975). He became recognised as a sought-after performer throughout the former USSR. Publishers for Gililov’s recording range from Deutsche Grammophon, RCA Victor, Toshiba EMI to Virgin and Orfeo. His discography provides a sampling of the wide-ranging talents of versatile. And he sits on the judging penal at many international competitions, amongst which, he founded and headed the jury of the Telekom Beethoven Competition in Bonn in 2005.

During the 2017 Suzhou Jinji Lake International Piano Competition, Mr. Pavel Gililovwill be invited as one of the members of THE COMPETITION JURY.

John O’Conor

A Steinway Artist, Mr. O'Conor is Chair of the Piano Division at Shenandoah University in Virginia, a faculty member at the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, International Visiting Artist at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and Visiting Professor at Showa University in Japan.

During the 2017 Suzhou Jinji Lake International Piano Competition, Mr. John O’Conorwill be invited to be one of the members of THE COMPETITION JURY and perform at the OPENING GALA.

Piotr Paleczny

Piotr Paleczny先生是波兰著名钢琴家、教育家，五大国际钢琴比赛首奖获得者。毕业于华沙肖邦音乐大学，师从Jan Ekier（扬·艾凯尔）教授。Paleczny演奏精湛，屡获大奖，并对国际钢琴大赛的发展也做出了卓越贡献，1993年始担任Duszniki国际肖邦钢琴节——世界现存最久音乐节的艺术总监，2004年任波兰比得哥什国际帕得雷夫斯基国际音乐节艺术总监。2007年任克利夫兰国际钢琴比赛首位、也是唯一一位波兰籍评委会主席，他的名字享誉全美。2017年，他也将担任2017苏州金鸡湖钢琴比赛的评委，并在开幕音乐会上与苏交合作肖邦的《E小调第一钢琴协奏曲》。

Renowned Polish pianist and professor, laureate of five international piano competitions, Piotr Paleczny studied at the Frederick Chopin Music University in Warsaw from Prof. Jan Ekier. His piano studies were topped off by stunning prizes, such as Third Place and the Special Prize for Polonaise performers (in conjunction with Garrick Ohlsson and Mitsuko Uchida), and the Witold Macuyński Prize.

Paleczny is recognised also for his contribution to international piano competitions. Since 1993 he has worked as Artistic Director of the Duszniki International Chopin Piano Festival, the world's oldest existing one. In 2004 he became the Artistic Director of the International Paderewski Piano Competition in Bydgoszcz. In 2007 the judging penal of Cleveland International Piano Competition made his name known as the first and the sole Polish president of jury throughout the U.S.

During the 2017 Suzhou Jinji Lake International Piano Competition, Mr. Piotr Palecznywill be invited to be one of the members of THE COMPETITION JURY and perform at the OPENING GALA.

Hyoung-Joon Chang

钢琴家Hyoung-Joon Chang自16岁与首尔爱乐乐团合作首演后，先后与著名指挥家Walter Hendl、Tadaaki Otaka、Thomas Sanderling、Paul Freeman合作，并于世界知名乐团同台演出。Chang在曼哈顿音乐学院获博士学位，师从美国钢琴家Earl Wild、Constance Keene，也与已故的大师Abram Chasins同台表演。他担任各大国际钢琴比赛评委，包括克利夫兰、都柏林、首尔、埃皮纳勒、上海、苏格兰、阿斯塔纳、德累斯顿钢琴大赛，以及挪威特罗姆瑟世界顶级钢琴大赛。其学生也在各大国际比赛中屡夺桂冠。2017年苏州金鸡湖钢琴比赛中，Hyoung-Joon Chang先生将担任评委。

Since his debut with the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 16, pianist Hyoung-Joon Chang has worked with eminent conductors. Chang received his doctoral degree from the Manhattan School of Music where he studied with legendary American pianists Earl Wild and Constance Keene. He has also played often for the late Abram Chasins. He has been a jury member of Cleveland International Piano Competition, Dublin, Seoul, Epinal, Shanghai, Scottish, Astana, Dresden and “The Top of the World International Piano Competition” in Tromso, Norway. Many of his pupils have won major and special prizes from International Piano Competition.

During the 2017 Suzhou Jinji Lake International Piano Competition, Mr. Hyoung-Joon Chang will be invited as one of the members of THE COMPETITION JURY.

Paul Schenly

钢琴大师Paul Schenly，艾维里·菲雪尔大奖得主，与美国各大乐团合作中担任钢琴独奏，其中包括亚特兰大交响乐团、克利夫兰管弦乐团、芝加哥交响乐团、洛杉矶爱乐乐团、旧金山交响乐团、纽约爱乐乐团等。Schenly在各大美国和国际钢琴比赛中担任评委，其学生也屡获大奖。他现任美国钢琴家基金会咨询委员会委员，吉尔摩钢琴基金会提名委员会成员。其钢琴演奏作品被 Sine Qua Non唱片公司、美国广播唱片公司灌录出版为CD。Schenly现任克利夫兰国际钢琴比赛艺术总监，也是汉普顿夏季钢琴节的创立人、音乐总监。2017年苏州金鸡湖钢琴比赛中，Paul Schenly先生将担任评委。

Winner of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, pianist Paul Schenly has been a soloist with major American orchestras, including the Atlanta Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony and New York Philharmonic. Mr. Schenly has served on the juries of several national and international competitions and his students have won numerous prizes. He is on the advisory board of the American Pianists Foundation and on the nominating committee for the Gilmore Piano Foundation. He has recorded for Sine Qua Non and RCA. Mr. Schenly is the artistic director of the Cleveland International Piano Competition and is also the founder/director of the summer festival "Pianofest in the Hamptons."
